(1). Postcards always spoil my holidays.

明信片总是破坏我的假日。

(2). Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in public gardens.

去年夏天我到意大利去，我参观了博物馆，并去公园里坐坐。

(3). A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian. ’Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word.

一位友好的服务员教我几句意大利语，后来又借给我一本书，我读了几行，却什么也看不懂。

(4). Every day I thought about postcards.

每天我都想着明信片的事。

(5). My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send any cards to my friends.

假日过得很快，可是我没有给我的朋友寄出任何明信片。

(6). On the last day I made a big decision.

最后一天我下了很大的决心。

(7). I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards

我起得很早，买了三十七张明信片。

(8). I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!

我在屋里呆了一整天，可连一张明信片也没有写成。
