(1). Late in the afternoon, the boys put up their tent in the middle of a field. As soon as this was done, they cooked a meal over an open fire.

傍晚，孩子们在田间搭起了帐篷。支起以后，他们马上架火做饭。

(2). They were all hungry and the food smelt good.

他们都饿了，饭菜很香。

(3). After a wonderful meal, they told stories and sang songs by the campfire.

吃完一顿又香又美的饭后，他们在篝火旁讲故事，唱歌。

(4). But some time later it began to rain.

但不一会儿，下雨了。

(5). The boys felt tired so they put out the fire and crept into their tent

孩子们都挺累，于是他们把火扑灭，钻进了帐篷。

(6). Their sleeping bags were warm and comfortable, so they all slept soundly.

他们的睡袋又暖和又舒服，所以都睡得很香。

(7). In the middle of the night, two boys woke up and began shouting. The tent was full of water!

半夜，两个男孩醒来开始大叫，帐篷里全是水!

(8). They all leapt out of their sleeping bags and hurried outside.

他们都从睡袋里跳出，慌忙跑出帐篷。

(9). It was raining heavily and they found that a stream had formed in the field. The stream wound its way across the field and then flowed right under their tent!

雨下得很大，他们发现田里已形成一条小溪，它蜿蜓穿过田野，正好流过他们的帐篷底下。
